Blast off is almost here for the musically galactic, Latino romantic and beautifully climactic Spanish music festival; Rocket.
The rolling scenery mixed with the idyllic Andalucan greens and rusty reds, blanket the festivals rich canvas with the meandering mountains rambling away into the distance to provide Rocket with one of the most divine and unique backdrops for any festival in the world. Rocket lays on a festival atmosphere like no other mixing spiritual hedonism for body and mind with multi cultured festivities of music, dance and art to cultivate and pamper your artistic side.
The festivals roots are in the vein of traditional fairs and festivals of the past; take quintessential circus, walkabout performances and street theatre and mix it with the globally eclectic line up of electro, Hip Hop, Ska, Drum n Bass, World Music and even Human Beatbox and you have a rich festival experience. With artists including Coldcut, The Nextmen, Pendulum, Beardyman and Bad Manners Rocket is set to reach new heights this year!
Rocket attracts a large number of young families and children are well catered for in the Kids Field alongside the Natural Living area, which provides a calm and tranquil space for holistic therapies, yoga and meditation workshops. More Street performers can be found across the site with an array of acts collaborating to create nightly processions and specially prepared shows incorporating the childrens Dragon Parade in costumes they have handmade during the day.
With twisted dcor, 3d video projections, giant sculptures and inflatables Circus and cabaret performers, which are often the acts that people remember the longest, its this vibrant international mix of ancient and modern skill and showmanship that makes the Rocket so special compared with other more commercial music only festivals.
And tickets can be purchased from a selection of top UK stores. Forget the risk of mud and rain and guarantee yourself 3 days of sun drenched musical and visual experiences. Its the perfect start to summer!
